The first brood of chicks will be ready to "raise the dust," or more probnbly "drag in the mud" very soon. Additional equipment to the Commercial Com-mercial Department includes, among other things, one electrically driven Burroughs Posting Machine, new accounting ac-counting desks, several Royal type-wtiters, type-wtiters, and one No. 77 Edison-Dick Mimeograph. The game between the Parowun Giants and the B. A. C. was played bece WWutsdiiy, I i.r. 15. Tiie score was not satisfactory for Parowan. It is , the ambition of the department to do some special work in pottery and terra cotta. A very much needed triple mirror I and cuting table have been installed in the Domestic Art department. Now one may see the city's "sixties" vying with the school's "sweet six-eens" six-eens" in the use of both.. Another new and much appreciated attraction attrac-tion for the girls is the heuutiful club and rest room which Mr. Homer has so luxuriously furnished and i -sent ed to them as a surprise. While not exactly ' expecting to become ballet dancers by the time school closes, they are acquiring ac-quiring added grace, skill and health. A number of the town ludies are! taking advantage of the night school class in physical education, toning down, or building up aroirdupios, as the cuse may be. They seem to be j getting a great deal of enjoyfent out of the course, as well as finding a few muscles; as a result of the latter, the ! art of walking down stairs no long-! long-! er presents itself us a painless proposition. prop-osition. On Friday the school was honored I with a visit from TToti. Grorjre T. Odell, a member of he Board of Trustees Trus-tees and Director of War Savings in Utah. In a chapel talk he related in brief Utah's achievements in War Savings in 1918. Superintendent Super-intendent Nuttall preceded Honorable Odell with a most interesting nnd instructive in-structive talk on the consecration of men and women to a definite work in I life. Walker. The B. A. C. bids fair to produce musicians as well as farmers, housekeepers house-keepers and artisans. Mr. H. Peyton Johnson, instructor of string and wind instruments, and Mr. H. I.eroy , Krisby, instructor of piano and voice, are getting excellent results. , The chorus is progressing satisfactorily and a ladies' trio and a male quartette quar-tette are being organized..
