The work that has been done in our own county and state during the past four or five years is most gratifying. Already the changes and improvements im-provements amount almost to a revolution, and the work is going steadily on nnd will doubtless continue to be prosecuted until there are almost perfect highways in all parts of the state. Nothing Noth-ing could be done that would bring the whole people peo-ple into closer communion and cement them and their interests more closely together. . Tcr
