THE Observer, with characteristic enterprise, announced in its scare head, first page war article last Tuesday evening, that Huerta must salute the flag! The same startling information was obtained ob-tained by readers of the daily papers on the preceding pre-ceding Friday. The announcement is also made in its last issue that it will hereafter use the late service of the Western Newspaper Union in its auxiliary pages. This service has been used by The Record ever since 3rd class matter was accepted ac-cepted at parcel post rates, and our contemporary had it proffered to him at the same time we did, but his slow, sluggish nature said the old, slow freight shipments were good enough until we called attention to our improved service a week or two ago. . Then he wakes up and begins to holler about his telegraphic news. Of course, he will have to take second choice on everything, but even at that it is likely to be a big improvement on the first page war article that he dished up last issue.
