Show THOMAS WADE LAID AT REST Passed Away on Tuesday, Junuary C, of Pneumonia and Other Diseases. Funeral Yesterday at 2 p. m. Yesterday afternoon nt 2 p. m. tho funeral sorvlces of Thomas Wado, n respected citizen of Cedar City, who passed uwuy at 4 a. m. last Tuesday, the 6th, were held in the Cedar City tabernacle. Besides a large gathering of local friends und relatives of the deceased, two of his brothers nnd a sister were in attendance from Fillmore, Fill-more, Millard county, where deceased was born and reared. According to the testimony of tho attending physician, Dr. E. F. Green, deceased hus been a sufforer for tho past eight months from inflammatory inflamma-tory rheumatism, and on December 15th was stricken with pneumonia, involving both lungs. Apparently he had passed the crisis of the disease, when other complications devoloped that resulted in his death. Thomas Wndc, who was the son of George nnd Margaret Wndo, was born in Fillmore December 10, 1880, making him 34 years old nt the time of his demise. His father is still living in Salt Luke City, his mother passed away two years ago. Three brothers nnd two sisters survive him. Ten years ago last July ho was married to Mary J. Leigh of this city, and five years ago they movod to Cedar City, where they have since resided. re-sided. A number of small children, resulting from the union, are loft without a brend-winner, ns well as the dependent mothor. Tho speakers at tho funeral wore Bishop A. G. Matheson, Henry Leigh nnd William R. Pnlmor. The grave was dedicated by Eldor Jos. S. Fife. During his sojourn among us tho deceased was known for his industry, honesty nnd integrity, and had the respect of all who knew him. |
