Show POPULARITY OF BUICK ROADSTER ROAD-STER CAUSES PRODUCTION CHANGES. , So startling was the debut of the new special ti-54 roadster of the Buick line nt the New York-show that II. II. Basset, general manager of tho Buick Motor Co. will bo forced to revamp the production schedule on the model. In a telegram to C. B. Durham, assistant general manager, mana-ger, Mr, Basset said that he believed tho company, largely because of tho , roadster model, was about to enter on , n period oi immense increase in Bales and that every effort would have to be exerted to keep production up to the demnnd. ' Mr. Basset's message follows: "New special C-G4 roadster re-' ceived with wonderful enthusiasm at tno snow. Our plane lor production of this model will undoubtedly have to be rearranged. "I am firmly of tho opinion that we are about to enter on a period of immense increaso in sales on all models and that we will be compelled to exert every effort to keep production produc-tion up to tho demand.
