Show LOUISE PtiY JT REST . . Sunday night at 9:15 o'clock Mrs. Louise Perry, wife of Geo. E. Perry, passed peacefully away after suffering suffer-ing from a paralytic stroke that attacked at-tacked her a week before. Funeral services were held Wcdnes-day Wcdnes-day afternoon in the tabernacle, at which a largo number of relatives and fric,nds wcro in attendance. The services ser-vices were conducted by Bp. E. M. Corry Tho opening hpmn by tho choir was "O, My Father," which was sung in a beautiful manner, aa was the hymn, "Though Decpenisg Triaa" after the opening prayer by Elder Myron My-ron D Higbce The first speaker was Elder Alex G Matheson, who spoko of the strong character of the deceased and her devotion de-votion to tho gospel. He also talked upon the hereafter and gave much consolation 'to the mourners. Elder S. Leigh followed Elder Matheson and spoke of the excellent qualities of Sister Sis-ter Perry, telling of her home life and devotion to her family and loyalty to the principles of the gospel Eld! The speaker closed aha remarks re-marks asking the blessings of God to rest on her chldren and husband who are called to mourn. Mrs. Annette Bettensen Bang an ap-piano ap-piano by her sister, Iva Webster, manner. She was accompanied on the piaso by her sister, Miss Iva Wcbtcr. Bccdction was pronounced by Elder Wm. V. Walker. Sister Louisa Perry will be missed by a host of relatives and friend who had learned to love her because of her sunny disposition,and her unfailing ! courtesy. Sho was of n dispositonj that appealed to tho best in everyone, I a,nd it was always a pleasure to be as- i bociated with her. She was magnani mous and forebearing, big hearted and ' honest. Sho was at all times a devoted ' and loving wife and mother, and she I .will bo sadly missed in the homo of I which sho has been queen for forty J years. I She was born June 2nd, 1858, being ' a daughter of Sam'l and Mary Leigh, each of whom passed to the Great Beyond Be-yond several years ago. hhe leaves her husband, four daughters daugh-ters and three sons to mourn her departure. |
