Show B.1C. SERVICE PLEASES MANY The church service conducted last Sunday by the Branch Agricultural College was one of the most pleasing events, of the-year. The tabernacle was filled to capacity, the attendance befog more suggestive of a quarterly quarter-ly conference than a regular Sunday afternoon meeting. The service was well balanced throughout, showing the care with which tho cntiro proyram had been planned; the various readings and se lections harmonized in spirit with the hymns and the anthems that were beautifully sung by the B. A. C. Chorus, under the direction of Prof. McCarty, and the short talk by Director Di-rector Cardon apparently had been prepared with a view to having it fit in with the rest of the program. H That the service was deeply appreciated ap-preciated by the large congregation was apparent in the, many favorable comments that were heard on all hands after the meeting. This kind of cooperation between "the school and the Church should be encouraged and there arc many citizens who hope that the B. A. C. have more opportunities op-portunities to conduct service ia the tabernacle. |
