Show Milo, tho eldest son of Sheriff J. H. Corry, suffered the miufor-tune miufor-tune to break an arm while at one of the ranches on the mountain. moun-tain. The boy, who is about ten years of age. was running down the mountain side at a point where it is very steep, when he stumbled and fell, with the result re-sult stated above. Sheriff Corry brought him to tho city where he was given the necessary medical med-ical attention. Assessor J. R. Rickards received re-ceived a telegram Monday announcing an-nouncing the death on Saturday last of a brcther, F. M. Rickards of Seneca, Kansas. He was a veteran of the civil war and at the time of his death was 82 years of age. Assessor Rickards paid him a visit last October, which was tho first time the brothers had seen each other for thirty-five years. Owing to important im-portant matters at home, Mr. Rickards was unable to attend hisbrother's funeral. Thos. Judd, one of the enterprising enter-prising business men of St George, was in town Wednesday on business connected with the fruit industry. He was representing repre-senting the state board of horticulture horti-culture and was in consultation with county inspector Samuel W. Leigh regarding local fruit conditions. Mr. Judd took occasion oc-casion to call in and pay his compliments com-pliments to The Record. |
