Show I ENOCH J Enoch, Utah, February 12, 1920. The school at Midvallcy, under tho direction of Miss Estellc Jones, gave n very interesting "program appro-printc appro-printc for Lincoln's birthday Wednesday Wednes-day afternoon. Primary is progressing progress-ing favorably there, also. Dr. Bergstrom was called here to make sure whether or not it was flu with which Willard Jones was ill, and he pronounced it not flu. The Doctor also went up to the farm of R. W. Jones at Summit nnd found Mr. Jones to have an attack of influenza. There have already been two or three cases there, but none of them serious. Wo arc glad to report that there is no flu here at present. Thornton Jones is home from Logan where he has been attending school nnd will possibly return when the flu nbntcs. Early this week Mr. and Mrs. S. F." Jones received from tho Red Cross in Franco photographs of the final resting rest-ing place of their son Henry, and it is n comfort to them to even bo nblo to see through this medium the white cross which marks the sacred spot. Aunt Susannah is slowJy recovering from her illness which the whole community com-munity is glad to note. There is moro moisture in the ground this year than there was at this time Inst year, which makes the farmers think they are going to havo good crops this season. It is certainly hoped that their anticipations will bo realized. |
