Show EUREKA. - Dr. Monahan returned from Nephi last Monday night. j Dr. J. C. Hennessy, the dentist, has recently returned to Nevada from Mexico, Mex-ico, and in a letter received in Eureka this week from the gentleman at Wells, he states that he expects to make a professional visit to Eureka in the near future. He further says that during his sojourn in Mexico he built up a' good practice, but found it too warm j to remain there through the long, hot j season. Miss Fanny McGairy, who has been teaching in the city schools of West Superior, Wis., for 'several years, returned re-turned to Eureka Tuesday to spend her summer vacation with her folks at home. George Dugan and his three children are arrivals in Eureka from Tonopah. Mr.. Dugan has brought his children here to remain during the hot weather, as they have not been well and he thought the change would help them. The infant son and daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Antone Merialdo of Cortez were christened at the Catholic church in Eureka on the morning of July 4, by Rev. Father aMnion. Dan Holland, who has been attending attend-ing school at All Hallows college at Salt Lake, has returned home. Mike Donnelly returned to Eureka by Friday's train from Butte, Mont. Secretary of State Eugene Howell passed through Eureka Monday on his return to Carson from a visit to Wrhite Pine county. Ed G. O'Donnell was out from Salt Lake last Saturday and Sunday, and paid a 'visit to his property in Death canyon. |
