Show PUEBLO. A communication has been sent to all the Catholic wrists of the diocese of Denver regarding the plans for laising the funds necessary for' the building of an episcopal residence for Bishop Malz.' The plan outlined is to asses tlie Various Vari-ous parishes according to the ordinary income for 1901, as rendered to the diocesan dio-cesan chancellor. Money raising -nter-tainments are not included in the term "income." On this basis an assessment of: 13 per cent is expected of every parish in the diocese,1 which, includes the whole - of the state of Colorado. The full sum is expected within a year. If cash payment pay-ment be made in part only, the pastors will be required to give their personal note for the balance. The levy for cash payment is but 12 per cent.
