I And proud are we of rocky hi'.ls That f-ymbolize our nation's might; The while our heart in rapture thrills I With visions of their lofty height. And up upon the topmost crest. Where mighty elements contend. The nation's eagle builds her nest And tireless-winged, the skies as-I as-I cend, 1 -j Our peaceful coasts, the oceans lave The golden-rod sways o'er the lea; Oh! may our noble bannei wave Forever o'er the brave and free.
