Show BILLINGS, MONT. Father Francis Van Clarenbeck, resident priest of Saint Joachim's Catholic chun h, was given a surprise last week when about ten priests of the Catholic church of Montana arrived ar-rived in the city to spend a couple of days as his guests. The reverend gentlemen gen-tlemen spent the night at the home of Father Van Clarenbeck, where pleasant conversation relative to their work, interspersed with luncheon, caused the evening to pass all too swiftly. The visit of the gentlemen had no particular significance, it being merely social. Among the gentlemen present were' Fathers Francis Batens, Walkerville; C. Harrington. Butte; J. Blaire, Livingston; Liv-ingston; J. Vermant, Lewistown; P. Gallagher, Bozeman; T. Slack. Red Lodge, and A. Mueller of the Cheyenne Indian reservation. t |
