She had-lived in Leadville and in other Colorado cities,' and every miner in Colorado and Montana, Mon-tana, it is said., knew her to love her. She was a noble woman. Father O'Rourke came to Bdtte and Anaconda at that time and attended bis sister's funeral. i He was a classmate of Father Callahan Calla-han of the Sacred Heart parish of this city, at St. Mary's college in Kansas. He was known at the leading ecclesiastical ecclesias-tical orator of Colorado. At the time of his death he was stationed at Silver-ton. Silver-ton. Colo. Father Callahan said yesterday yes-terday that Father O'Rourke was a splendid type of a man, courageous, forceful as a speaker, and beloved by all who knew him, and that his untimely un-timely and tragic end was cause of universal sadness. There will be a solemn high mass for him at Sacred Heart church Monday morning at 9 o'clock, and the friends of the dead priest are invited to attend. |
