Father Cciocchetti was at Sunnyside last week and among many i e ther pastoral duties he performed the j ceremony of marriage between Miss j .lanie Crismanie and Mr. Frank Ko- I l;aly; he spent a few days at Price and I there married Miss Janica Krzmanie and Mr. Luka Bosicevic. ' I I The priests in charge at the cathedral cathed-ral are anxious for the children and the young girls ami boys to go to confession con-fession on Saturday afternoon, and leave the evening hours for the older people particularly for the working I people, who have so little time to at- I tend church. - .Under the zealous, energetic guid- a nee of Rev. Father Deneaf, the sane- Ijary Boys' society is fast becoming a .; permanent, and splendid organization. 1 Th? boys are giving evidence of careful training and lake a, warm interest- in f ' ' - " , f' ...mi in. i ii , ' ' 5 -A the work. At benediction last Sunday night the sanctuary presented a beautiful beau-tiful sight, with all the boys present before the altar. From the choir came the male chorus singing the vespers and in every way the services were im-piessive. im-piessive. but to return to the altar boys, they are certainly a credit to the cathedral and to the worthy director. May the good work proceed until every Catholic lad in the city is under the banner of the. Sanctuary Boys' society! so-ciety! Miss Little will assist Miss Gleason with the Sunday rehearsal. About twenty boys are required for the St. Patrick's concert, and the parents pa-rents are requested to send them to rehearsal suve on Saturday. All the boys who took part last year are wanted want-ed for the coming concert and are requested re-quested to attend the rehearsal. On St. Patrick's night, March IT, the annual concert for the benefit of the St. Ann's orphanage will take place in the Salt Lake theater. The best local talent, together with the junior choir, will take part in the programme. Pocatelio celebrated Washington's birthday by a social gathering of the Knights of Columbus. The third degree de-gree was conferred. Members of the I order from Salt Lake and Ogden participated par-ticipated in the ceremonies A full account ac-count will appear in next week's issue of the Inter Mountain Catholic. The tickets for the concert will be on sale the coming week. The distribution distri-bution of tickets and the business management will be in the hands of a committee of prominent gentlemen of the Cathedral parish. |
