Show ST. CLARA'S ORPHANAGE. St. Clara's Orphanage had their Christmas tree and entertainment last night, a large audience enjoying the recitation's, music and plays given by the children, and the fun and frolic of the 115 members of the home when they helped distribute the gifts from the Avell-laden tree. v Sixty-five of the little girls headed the procession with sixty-five brand new goAvns on, all of which had been given by Mrs. Fred Siegel. Mr. Siegel "gave sixty-five of the boys neAV Avaists and neckties, which they sported with much complacency. The children gave a German play and the boys a shepherd's shep-herd's drill. The baby that came to the home a year ago Christmas eve was toddling around and enjoying the fun Avith the others. The children had a nice dinner, and the tree put the climax of joy on the day'a pleasure. , |
