Keefe has been seriously ill for the past week. Hon. Mike Quealy was a visitor in our city. Friday. W. P. Gamon and little daughter are visiting relatives in Ogden. Mrs. Fred Dodge returned home the i first of the week. She was accompanied accompa-nied by Miss Mayme Dodge of Clarks, Neb., who will spend the summer in Rawlins. Mrs. J. II. Clans and little daughter returned from Salt Lake, where they have been visiting for the past month. Mrs. Claus's health is much improved I by the trip. Albert Carboni has been very sick for several days. D. C. Callaghan and F. Doyle spent the Fourth at Saratoga. While there they participated in a reunion of the Torrey Rough Riders. Richard Maddigan, brother of Mrs. Ed. Keefe, returned to his home in Te-oria. Te-oria. 111., after a pleasant visit in this city. Con. the 4-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Con Quinlan, died suddenly about 0 o'clock last Saturday night. Strangulation Stran-gulation was the cause of his death. He had been quite ill for several days with membranous croup. The funeral was held from St. Joseph's Catholic church Monday morning. Rev. Fa. her DuBoise conducting the services. The sympathy of the entire communitiy is extended to the grief-stricken parents. |
