Show POCATELLO, IDA. . Rev. Father Van der Donckt of Po catello was a McCammon visitor the fore part of last week. The remains of Mrs. W. F. Kasiska were laid at rest this forenoon in the Masonic cemetery. Mr. Kasiska being a member of that order. The services were held at the Catholic church, of which the deceased was a member. The funeral sermon was preached by Father Van der Donckt. assisted by Father Bailsman of Twin Falls, who came up for the purpose, and who said mass. The services were beautiful and impressive, im-pressive, while the floral offerings were many and elaborate, testifying to the esteem in which the deceased was held. The remains were . conveyed to the church from the residence at 9:30, and the services were held immediately upon arrival at the church. Among the floral pieces was one contributed by the" employes of the Bannock hotel. A large cortege escorted the remains to the grave, the following prominent friends of the deceased acting as pall-bearers: Judge D. W. Standrod, D. W. Church, J. B. Mullen, ex-Mayor W. H. Cleare, James F. Kane and P. .C. Murphy. The two daughters of the deceased arrived on Thursday from school at Baraboo, Wis., to attend the funeral. Pocatello Tribune, May 20. |
