Show GRAND JUNCTION, COLO. (Special Correspondence.) The St. Joseph's Aid society met last Thursday at the home of Mrs. Treacter on Ouray avenue. Quite a number were present, and the ladies are progressing rapidly with their patch Avork. , i The High School Glee club expects' to give a nice little concert on March 16 in the Park opera house. Everyone sohuld attend. Mrs. B. F. Neff entertained at her home on Grand avenuu on last Friday afternoon about forty ladies. Flinch and cards were the prevailing amusements. amuse-ments. The house was elaborately decorated dec-orated in white and green, and Mrs. Neff s lunch was good and most tempting, tempt-ing, and all report a very delightful afternoon. Mr. Ben Allison, who hai been ill with typhoid fever the pat eight weeks, is able to be out on the streets again. Mr. James Cosgere has returned from Denver, where he has been for the past few days on business. Mr. Cosgere has gone into the undertaking business and is very busy getting his business ready and the fixtures in place. ' |
