Show IMPROVEMENT WORK STARTS AT WESTON Improvement of the streets and alleys iu the village of WeBton started January 28, according to Earl Burcham, district manager of the Woflq Projects Administration. The Pic'- calls for the clearing clear-ing of the r ht-of-way, grading and draining roadbed installing neces- ( sary culverts, gravel surfacing of j streets, and constructing euros, gutters, and sidewalks. The estimated cost is $37,205.00 of Vftlch the village of Weston will furnish, $7,350.00 in equipment and materials. It will require 450 man-months man-months of labor and it is contemplated contem-plated to begin work with a crew of fifteen men, who will be employed employ-ed until needed for farm work in the vicinity. The people of the viflage of Weston Wes-ton are enthused ahout the type ot work accomplished on prevous WPA projects, and are looking forward for-ward to, the additional improvements improve-ments to be made through this project. n n |
