Show o o COUNTY AAA MEN AT FARM CONFERENCE Franklin county will be represented repre-sented at an all-state Triple-A farm program conference at Boise this week by Quince Rice, chairman; chair-man; Leland Auger, vice-chairman; Wilford Stokes, regular member; E. R. Neuenswander, secretary; and A. J. Hart, county supervisor, the; county AAA office said this week. The meeting January 28' to 30, the fourth annual conference ot Idaho AAA committeemen, will bring together farmers and ranchers ranch-ers who administer agricultural and range conservation affairs in all sections of the state. On the program will be discussions discus-sions of farm problems, plans for the 1943 conservation program, and opportunities to hear outstanding authorities on the international situation and the bearing it has on Idaho agriculture, the county office said. County committee chairmen and county agricultural agents will hold several special meetings devoted to a discussion of the Department ot Agriculture's program to step up production of needed foodstuffs in line with war-time need. Dr. C. W. Chenoweth, University of Idaho philosophy professor, and Arthur Gaeth, Salt Lake City radio new analyist with John B. Appleton assistant director Northwest Regional Re-gional Council are scheduled as speakers to the group during its three-day meeting. Mill'ord J. Vaught, Mackay, Idaho farmer-stockman farmer-stockman and chairman of the Idaho Ida-ho State AAA committee, will be chairman oi the conference. |
