Mr. and Mrs. Welland F. Smith attended the funeral of Mr. James Baird of Mink Creek Sunday afternoon. after-noon. 1 Richard - Peterson, of Logan, spent Sunday afternoon at the home of Mr .and Mrs. Welland P. Smith. The singing mothers and daughters daugh-ters of this ward presented the can-j can-j tata, "Resurrection Morning", in meeting Sunday night. The reader Uvas Miss Radia Smith, the accom- panist was Miss Barbara Smith. It has been reported by Mr. J. I. Smith, who is at the Veterans hos-I hos-I pital, that he is doing very well following two minor operations. Verle Neeley is leaving Tuesday to receive his last medical exam-j ination ten days after which he; will leave for the army. Miss Mona Smith who has beeiij spending a few days in Gl.endale is . now home. Miss Maxine Forsgren is spending spend-ing a week in Preston staying at the home of her grandfather, Mr. j Eli Forsgren. Miss Barbara Smith spent Monday Mon-day night at the home of Mr and Mrs. Angus J. Keller in Preston. Mr. Darold Wold who has been working in California has returned here to join his wife. They will now open their own house and live in it as Mrs. Wold has been living with her parents, Mr .and Mrs. Lewis Packer. Miss Margaret Packer who has been working in Glencoe, is now at her own home. |
