A fourth son, Cyril, is a student at USAC this year. Appreciation for the cooperation of the residents of the county with the office of County Agent during the time he has been connected in this extension department is expressed ex-pressed by Mr. Kearl in an interview inter-view this week. "Having resigned from, my position, posi-tion, may I express to you my sincere sin-cere appreciation for the very friendly and cooperative attitude which you have manifested during the past several years. May I also express, through the columns ot your paper, -my respect for the large group of fine farmers, 4-H boys and girls and their leaders, and business men in this county and surrounding territory. I appre-ciate appre-ciate the confidence of these groups and I am grateful for their friendship. friend-ship. It has been a genume pleasure pleas-ure to to have worked with these people on problems which have been of mutual interest, and connected con-nected with a great industry. "I should like to solicit, in behalf of my successor, the same fine confidence con-fidence and cooperation which 1 have enjoyed. "Following February 1, I shall be associated with the Franklin County Sugar company. 1 am very happy to associate myself with an industry that I consider vital in the economic welfare of the people of this locality; and I am particularly particu-larly happy because of the fine relationship re-lationship that exists between both parties in this enterprise the company com-pany and the growers." "In my position I will be responsible respon-sible to the management of the company and will be con-cerned primarily pri-marily with problems affecting sugar su-gar beet production; however, since successful beet production ties in so closely with good dairy herds and other livestock, crop rotation, soil fertility and good farm management, man-agement, I shall be glad to assist farmers in everp way I possibly can on all of these phases of a sound agriculture." |
