Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Frew and family of Ogden, Utah, were dinner din-ner guests and spent Sunday visiting visit-ing at the home of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. S. H. Atkinson. Mr. and Mrs. D. W Buttars and daughter and son-in-law, Mr and Mrs. Jerald Dalley and family of Shelley, Idaho, motored to Beaver Dam, Utah, on Monday to visit with Mr. and Mrs. Ellis Johnson and family. Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Bowaen of Cornish, Utah, were over night guests at the home of Mr. Bowden's brother Alma D. Bowden, Tuesday evening. At our sacrament meeting on Sunday the infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Jones was christened, christen-ed, Carolyn, and Mr. and Mrs. Earl Kirkbride's daughter was christened, christen-ed, Pauline. Mr. and Mrs. LeGrand Christen-sen Christen-sen and their small son, and Mr. and Mrs. Elden Larsen have returned re-turned home from Compton, Calif. Mr. Larsen worked at the Spreckles Sugar factory during the fall run. Mr. and Mrs. Christensen spent two weeks' at Compton. Mr. and Mrs. Thurman Griffeth and family motored to Falrview, to visit with his sister, who has been ill. Mrs. George M. Richman entertained enter-tained at a dinner at her home Friday honoring her son, Allen, who recently returned home from a mission. Guests present beside the immediate family were Mr. and ing with her daughter, Mrs. Leonard Leon-ard Hulet, and her brother, John Mickelson and her sisters, Mrs. Henry Wolverton and Mrs. James Phillips and their families. Mr. and Mrs. Lorenzo Vail of Salt Lake City, Utah, spent several sever-al days here recently, visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Wiliam Eck and family. fam-ily. Mrs. D. A. Perkins, spent several days at Pocatello, Idaho, visiting with her sons. Leroy Archibald, Jr., left; Dayton early Monday morning for Salt Lake City where he; will enter the mission home before leaving for his field of labor. A party honoring Mr. Archibald was held Friday evening. The Sunday Sun-day School officers and teachers and their partners gave a box and handkerchief shower for Mr. Archibald Archi-bald Thursday evening. |
