Show NEW AUTO PLATES BOOST SCENIC IDAHO Idaho's 1941 auto license plates have been selling like hotdogs at a baseball game, according to Franklin County Assessor Fred Hawkes' who; reports that over 100 plates have been sold during the first week in January. The plates this year have a yellow yel-low background with black numerals numer-als and with "Scenic Idaho" inscribed in-scribed across the bottom of the plate. The annual scramble for the lower numbers wound up this year with. Bill Head with plate number 1 and Glenn Jensen; with plate No 2. J. N. Larson got a repeat on Number 11, for he has had the same number for several years. Dr. G. W. States was listed with plate No. 100. April 1 is the final deadline for the purchase of the 1941 license, the assessor reports. Last year there were 2.2S0 license registrations registra-tions in this county. o o |
