Show DEMAR MOSER DIES IN HONOLULU; FORMERLY PRESTON Word was received here this week of the death of DeMar Ray Moser, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Moser of Preston, at the Queen's hospital in Honolulu ou Saturday, January 4. The deceased passed away with an ulcer ailment, and the body will be shipped to Preston this week for interment. DeMar Ray Moser was born January Jan-uary 28, 1915 in Preston. He was a graduate of the Preston high school where he was active in athletics ath-letics and an honor student in his subjects. He joined the U. S. Navy in 1934 and during the first year of service advanced to first 'Class seaman before being transferred trans-ferred to New London Conn., where he attended a submarine school. He was later stationed at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, lie served as chief radio operator on Submarine U.S.S. 25 until expiration of his enlistment en-listment in 193S. He received an honorary service medal upon his release from the navy. The past two years he had spent in Honolulu. Surviving him are his wife, Margaret Bair Moser, his father and mother and two brothers, broth-ers, Parley and Wayne Moser, one sister, Mrs. Lyra Willardsen of Og-den. Og-den. o o |
