Show GRAND OPERA TO BE PRESENTED HERE MARCH 3 BY USAC The world famous Faust, grand opera by the German composer, Goethe, will be presented in Preston Pres-ton on 'Monday, March 3, according to W. R. Craner, finance chairman of the Preston Parent-Teacher association. as-sociation. Final negotiations were completed Monday with the Utah State Agricultural college to present pre-sent this opera in Preston on that date in the Preston high school. Assisting Mr. Craner are Supt. R. F. Campbell and Mrs. T. R. Bow-den. Bow-den. According to the claims of the USAQ mus'':ians, Faust will be the best operatic production ever produced pro-duced at the college. Claudius Doty, well-known for his work in recent operas, will again sing a ioa,Hntr i-ole and will be supported by an unusual cast. A group of 175 peop'e make up the cast, staff, and orchestra. The committee announces that all s-at will be reserved at thirty-five thirty-five and fifty cents, and that all proceed.-, above expenses will be used on the P.T.A. project to h-'!p beautify the school grounds. |
