Miss Deva Olson was given a very pleasant surprise! by a number num-ber of her girl friends Wednesday afternoon in honor of her 12th birthday. Games were enjoyed and refreshments served to thirteen girls. A o I MILLVILLE Millville Mr. and Mrs. Aaron Pehrson entertained Thursday evening ev-ening in honor of the 83rd birthday birth-day of Mr. Pehrson's mother, Mrs. Elsa Pehrson. A delicious supper was served. Besides tlr host and hostess and guest of honor, those present were Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Iverson and family, Mrs. Nellie Pehrson, Mrs. Stella Egg of Pro-vid Pro-vid -nee; Mrs. Johanna Olson and two daughters, Matilda and Marie and Mr. and Mrs. William Olson of Logan. The children and grand children of the late Cecelia Anderson entertained en-tertained in memory of her birthday birth-day Saturday of last week. Tlv party was held at the Logan City park. Word has been i received by Mrs. Nils P. Olson of the death of her son Sterling Page. Mr. Page was operated on for goiter at the Vet-ems Vet-ems hospital in Salt Lake City a few days ago and died Wednesday. Wednes-day. Mr. Page's home was in Preston. He leaves a wife and three children. There were fifteen from our ward who attended the Stake M.I. A. social at Hyrum Tuesday evening. ev-ening. The S.
