Show Commissioner William Worley Gives Outline of County Road Work Members of State Road Commission and Engineers Engin-eers Meet in Session Here this Week Request Re-quest work be done in Logan and Sardine canyons can-yons Participation of Caclw county and various municipalities in the county with the state road commission com-mission in a road program with relief money was discussed Wednesday Wed-nesday in the court room of the First district court by members of the state road commission, county commission, Logan chamber cham-ber of commerc road committee and mayors of the town councils and commissions. Wright, state road commission engineer, who explained the program and participation par-ticipation of th.' state with counties coun-ties and towns; commission members mem-bers W. J. Parker, Preston G. Peterson and Ed D. Howe, and Lou Beason, northern district state road engineer. Und t the new setup, it was explained ex-plained by Mr. Wright, the state will be able to furnish 60 percent cf the cost in labor and the other participating unit the other 40 per cent. Mr. Wright said, however, that any equipment furnish d by the other participating unit other than ! the state would be considered as ! cash. j He asked for any suggested work ! that could come under this pro-j pro-j gram . and County Commissioner ! Early completion of the Logan-I Logan-I Petersboro highway to I Box Elder- Cache county line; oiling of Hy-l Hy-l rum-Paradise-Avon highway; oil- ing cf Smithfield-Newton high-I high-I way; oiling of roadways in grounds i of Utah State Agricultural college; j oiling of space on dach side of concrete to curb and gutter, from Main street east on Fourth North street, Logan to Seventh East streets; new bridge on highway to Lewiston just west of Webst x I spur; new bridge over interurban railroad track on Logan-Hyrum highway.
