Show Mrs. C. A. Folster Called to Reward Solemn and impressive ceremonies for Mrs. Fredericka C. L. Folster were conducted at the Gunnison Valley Val-ley high school at 12:30 Monday, when hundreds of warm friends gathered at the last rites. Bishop Leslie Kidman Kid-man was in charge of the services and a loving tribute by the speakers, aided aid-ed by an impressive musical program, deeply impressed those present. Chas. Rasmussen and Joseph A. Larson were the principal speakers, and in their addresses they brought forth the beautiful character and the kind and loving spirit that always predominated with the good woman who had been called to the beyond. A quartet, comprising Mrs. June Metealf, Met-ealf, Mrs. J. E. Metealf, E. L. Swalberg Swal-berg and Payton Alexander, gave four selections, and E. L. Swalberg sang a solo. Immediately following the chapel services in Gunnison, the funeral cortege cor-tege was formed and the body was taken to Ephraim and laid to rest in the Folster burial plot. Some fifteen automobiles formed the cortege. Mrs. Folster died at the home of her sister, Mrs. Leo N. Gledhill, in this city Thursday of last week, as a result of a heart attack. Notwith- standing the tact that sne nad been ill for a month, she was up and about early Thursday morning and at about 11 o'clock she suffered the fatal at-ack at-ack which took her life. Announcement Announce-ment of the sudden death spread a shadow of sorrow over the entire community. Mrs. Folster was born in Gunnison, December 16, 1875, the daughter of Frederick and Annie Marie Ludvig-son. Ludvig-son. She resided here until she grew to womanhood, when she went to Salt Lake to make her home. When she became the wife of C. A. Folster, June 6, 1924, she returned to the valley val-ley and the wife and husband made their home at Axtell, where Mr. Folster was engaged in stockraising and farming. Besides the husband, Mrs. Folster is survived by three brothers and sisters, sis-ters, Orson Ludvtgson and Mrs. Leo N. Gledhill, Gunnison, and Mrs. Maria Williams, Salt Lake; eight step-children, Allan C. Folster, Moab; Mrs. Mary Cleofa Folger, Salt Lake;i Dean Folster, Ephraim; Mrs. Viva Terry, Morgan; Mrs. Loretta Greer, Montez, Eugene and Thomas Folster, Salt Lake. Among those from outside points attending the obsequies for Mrs. Folster Fol-ster were Mr. and Mrs. George Williams Wil-liams and son, Don, Salt Lake, and T. M. Kearns of Morgan. |
