Show Van Ball Tourney is Staged for Gunnison Van ball, the new game originated for the express purpose of providing contests for the Boy Scouts, will be the feature of entertainment at the Gunnison Valley high school Saturday Satur-day evening. Two teams from Richfield, Rich-field, one from Ephraim and one from Mt. Pleasant, comprising the winning teams of the different districts encompassed en-compassed in the Bryce Canyon Council Coun-cil of Boy Scouts, will play to determine deter-mine which one is to represent the council at the state tournament to be held in Salt Lake City the latter part of this month, The first encounter will be between Ephraim and one of the Richfield teams, and the second will be between Mt. Pleasant and Richfield team number num-ber two. The winners of the two games will meet immediately following follow-ing the second game to determine the champion of the Bryce Canyon council, Games will commence at seven o'clock sharp, and patrons are promised prom-ised a real treat. A small charge will be made for admission in order to defray de-fray expenses of lighting and other incidentals. The Boy Scout organization organiza-tion is a deserving contingent and the public should show its appreciation by supporting the activities of its I members. |
