Show LOCAL ITEMS OF INTEREST Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Sorenson of Los Angeles, are here and will be the house guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ole Larson for two weeks or more. v Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Halverson and children, came down from Provo last week-end and spent a few days visiting visit-ing at the home of Mrs. O. H. Halverson. Hal-verson. Miss Thelma Willardson was a Gunnison visitor Saturday and Sunday Sun-day and was the guest at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Willardson. Wil-lardson. Mrs. J. A. Hagan was a charming hostess Tuesday afternoon to a large group of friends at a "shower" in compliment to her nephew, Marian Madsen,.. whoiK wjia .married to Miss Marguerite Blaine" of Myton, Wednesday Wednes-day of last week. Many guests were present at the party and a fine list of presents were given for the newly-wedded newly-wedded couple. A luncheon, served by the hostess, was one of the delightful features. Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Duggins, Mrs. Geo. Francis and the Misses Trilma and Blanche Francis, motored to Nephi Ne-phi Sunday and visited with relatives for the day. Mrs. R. B. Metcalf entertained Thursday afternoon of last week for members ,tf the Treas Jouli bridge j club. Sixbsien guests enjoyed a deli-1 cious luntheon preceding the game. J j Mark Duggins, of the Duggins Service Ser-vice station and who operates tourist1 cabins, and Lorin Hill, were business visitors to Salt Lake Friday and Saturday. Sat-urday. I r Mrs. Ben Childs was a charming hostess Saturday livening at a hot chicken 8 o'clock dinner, celebrating her birthday annh rsary. Sixteen guests were seated at small tables, each decorated with I'fid roses. Following Fol-lowing an hour at dinner progressive bridge was played, first, favors going to Mrs. Lee Isaaesom and Mrs. Blaine Larson. Second fyprtirs were awarded to Mrs. Leo GledhfU and Mrs. Joe Blixt. |
