Chilandari monastery Is famous for a most valuable MS. of the Gospels in gold letters on white vellum, probably given by the Emperor Emper-or Andronicus Conmenus about 11S4, and a treasure chest containing valuable valu-able specimens of Serbian ecclesiastical ecclesiasti-cal nrt.
