Hert, vice chairman of the Republican Repub-lican National committee, stated in a recent interview. "Therefore, the promises of the political parties on the subject of labor are of the greatest great-est Importance. When we reflect that there are eight and one-half million women wage earners including two million married women wage earners who are directly affected by labor legislation, as well as the wives of the laboring men who are interested In the protection afforded labor, the Importance Im-portance of the question can be plainly plain-ly seen.
