Article (Juiirnnlee of (.'immI Fa ills Each club shall deposit with the treasurer the sum of $50.00 not later than one week prior to the opening day of the first scheduled league game, as a guarantee of good faith. At the end of the season, the moneys remaining In the treasury shall be divided di-vided by the teams still in the league or as otherwise provided by the league. Article 7 Fines Section 1. Any club failing to keep regular appointment without a satisfactory excuse or leaving the field during the progress of a game shall be fined $50 and be subject to expulsion should the league so direct. Section 2. All protests or games shall be filed in writing with the secretary not later than seven days after game is played. Article 8 Umpires Section 1. Unless otherwise mutually mu-tually agreed all league games shall have two umpires, the visiting team't umpire shall be the umpire-in-chiei and the homo team's umpire shall bf the junior. Article 9 Forfeiture Section 1. Any club failing to deposit de-posit the money as provided for in article C, section 1, within the stipulated stipu-lated time, or fails to pay a fine or penalty, within ten days, shall forfeit all rights to membership, and tlu club in good standing shall have tht power to fill such vacancy. Section 2. Any club failing tc obey the provisions of the rules and regulations shall be expelled fron the league, and shall forfeit all LEAGUE ADOPTS RULES FOR SEASON Following are the constitution and by-lw adopted by the Southern Utah Baseball Ltague: Article 1 .Maine This organization shall be known aa the Southern Utah" Baseball league. Article 2 Object The object of this league shall be to promote the game by clubs composing com-posing the league, to encourage respectability re-spectability and gentlemanly conduct among the players, and eradicate rowdyism. Article S Membership Section 1. The membership of the league shall be composed of Jot more than six clubs." Section 2. Each club shall be entitled en-titled to one representative at all meeting3 Section 3. . Representatives of a majority of member clubs shall constitute con-stitute a quorum. Section 4. No club shall be' admitted ad-mitted into the' league except uniformed uni-formed clubs, and at least two-thirds of its players in any game must be fully uniformed. Article 4 Officers and Their Duties Section 1. The officers of the moneys deposited by the league. Article 10 Meetings The meetings of the league shall be held at the call of the president Article 11--Order of Business The regular order of business shall be: 1 Roll call. 2 Reading of minutes of the previous pre-vious meeting. 3 Bills and communications. 4 Report of committees. 6 Unfinished business. 6 New business. 7 Treasurer's report of receipts and disbursements. 8 Remarks for the good of the league. 9 Adjournment. TWO Southern Utah Baseball Article 12 Arbitration Section 1. An arbitration committee com-mittee shall be composed of one representative rep-resentative from each team, in case of a tie vote, the president shall cast the deciding vote. Articlel3 Official League Ball league shall be composed of: President, Presi-dent, first vice-president, second vice-president, vice-president, publicity man, secretary and" treasurer, to be elected at the Meeting held in April of each year, and to hold office until their success-ors.are success-ors.are elected and qualified. Section 2. The president shall preside at all meetings. He shall call special meetings at the request of three representatives. Section 3. The vice-president shall act in the same capacity of the president during his absence. Section 4. --The secretary shall keep a record of the minutes of all meetings, attend to all correspondence correspond-ence and perform such other duties as constitution and by-laws may provide. pro-vide. Section 5. - The treasurer shall receive re-ceive all moneys of the league and deposit the same in such trust company com-pany or bank as the league may direct. di-rect. Article 14 Changing of Constitution and By-Laws Section 1. This constitution and by-laws shall be in force immediately after their adoption, and shall be subject sub-ject to a change at any regular meet-, ing by two-thirds vote of those present. pres-ent. Section 2 This organization shall be subject to the rules of the national commission. Article 15 Limiting Imports No club shall have more than twe non-resident or imported players at any one time, and after the first game no such non-resident or imported player shall be eligible to play until after he has sat on the bench in uniform uni-form for one game. Amended It is further understood and provided pro-vided that no such imports shall duplicate du-plicate in position as pitcher. .. .
