Show TWELVE MILE CANYON ROAD DAY A DECIDED SUCCESS Canyon Road Day in Twelve Mile last Friday was a decided success. While not as many of the forest users us-ers responded as had been hoped for, eighteen men were on the job and did good work repairing the road through the narrows to Old Water-power. Water-power. The spring runoff had washed wash-ed the road out in a few places, making mak-ing it impassable. These were all repaired and a good culvert put in. The loose rocks rolled in by the cattle cat-tle and spring thaws were well removed re-moved by Dannie Christensen and others. J. D. Amtoft was the chief powder man and an euthusiastic booster for the proposition. Those who contributed their time and labor to the good work were Lewis Anderson, Ferd Rosenlund, J. P. Anderson and A. F. Larsen, all with teams; R. D. Larsen, J.ohn Larsen, Lar-sen, J. D. Amtoft, Angus Christiansen, Christian-sen, Ed. Oberg, Kenneth Whitlock. Cleve Christiansen, Hubert Larsen, Albert Steinberg, O. J. Christiansen, Lester Hansen, Dannie Christiansen, lames Jensen and Ed. P. Cox. J. N. Christiansen donated 25 cents worth of spikes. |
