Show Big Enrollment At Centerfiela Centerfield, Sept. IB. The Lincoln Lin-coln school, with the organization of the faculty, is running nicely, and under the present conditions the year promises to be a most successful success-ful one. The enrollment is unusually large for the opening week, and )b ai follows, showing the instructors of the different grades:. Principal Farnsworth, eighth grade, 29; Dewey Lund, seventh grade, 40; Melvin Dennison, sixth grade, 38; Miss Erma Anderson, fourth and fifth, grades, 41; Miss Alice Jensen, third grade, 37; Miss Mauline Wes-tenskow, Wes-tenskow, second grade, 32; Mifs Reva Riddell, first grade, 4 2. The total for the first week shows 253, and later when harvest is over the higher grades, will be materially increased in-creased in attendance. i Mrs. Sherman Barton and daughter, daugh-ter, Barbara, have returned to their home in Morgan. With the ideal weather now prevailing pre-vailing the farmers are availing themselves them-selves of the opportunity and three threshing machines are .working on the wheat in the Big Field. The yield thus far shows a high average and the grain is of fine quality. The beets are doing splendidly and maturing nicely. The management Of the factory expects to begin receiving re-ceiving the crop at the factory some time during the coming week. Miss Minerva Jensen of this city has joined the teaching corps at Morgan. Mor-gan. She began her duties as teacher teach-er the 5th of this month. |
