Show "DAN CUPID" IS BUSY LAD IN GUNNISON As the result of the activities of "Dan Cupid" three marriages have been solemnized during the past week in which three from Gunnison figured as some of the principals. Miss Wanda Nielson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles M. Nielson of this city, was married to Edgar M. Larson Lar-son of Manti, on Wednesday of last week. The ceremonies were performed perform-ed at Nephl and only a few of the most intimate friends of the contracting contract-ing parties were present. Mr. anil Mrs. Larson expect to make their forae at Manti. Forsakes Bachelorhood. Arthur Johnson, well known in Gunnison, cast off the cloak of bachelorhood bach-elorhood last Tuesday and joined the army of benedicts. Mr. Johnson claimed as his bride Mrs. Kate Davis, also well and favorably known in Gunnison. The happy twain motored to Richfield where the marriage vows were taken, later returning to Gunnison where they will reside permanently. per-manently. The wedding was a quiet affair, only a few witnessing the ceremonies. The newlyweds have a host of friends who will extend the well wishes for a happy and prosperous pros-perous life. Snow-Pierce. Miss Flora Snow of Gunnison and A. M. Pierce of Fayette were married mar-ried at Manti last Tuesday afternoon. Mr. Pierce is one of the young farmers at Fayetto and he and his newly claimed bride will make their home there. |
