Show TO PARENTS. The young men of this day are too free with their money. If they had been taught from childhood up to save their money they would not perhaps be dependent upon others for their living. The best plan is to teach the small children how to save and increase their savings, sav-ings, so that when they acquire age, those habits of economy that were ir.stilled into them while young, will cling to them all their life. Give the child 11 small bank and let him or her deposit nickels and dimes therein. When this amount has increased to a little sum. then have it placed in a bank and furnish fur-nish the child some inducement to save more. This idea, if followed out, will lead to more benefit than we imagine, and those that follow fol-low it will be thankful that they had started it. Ex. |
