Lookout Mouiitiilii Shuken. Recently a blast was fired on the side of Lookout mountain, which was remarkable re-markable in its size and results. One hundred kegs of powder were packed in nix holes and fired by electricity. A Indtfo of rocks was dislodged, and hundreds hun-dreds of tons rolled down the mountain1 side, somo of the pieces being as high as a two story building. The broad gunge railroad truck was destroyed for !i0(l yards and trees cut down liko straw.
