That Section 4 of an ordi- I nance passed by tho City Council of Salt Lako City December 3, 1907, and approved by tho Mayor December 3, 1907, entitled, "An ordinance amending nnd confirming an ordinance of Salt Lako City latlfying and confirming the transfer of franchises to Utah Light & Railway Company, a Corporation, extending ex-tending tho llfo of said franchises to Utah Power Company," passed by the City Council August 3, 1905, and approved ap-proved by tho Mayor August 4, 1905, bo and tho same Is hereby amended by Inserting after Subdivision twenty-third (Subdivision twenty-second and twenty-third having been added to said Section Four by an ordinance passed by tho City Council March 28, 1910, and approved by tho Mayor March 29, 1910), , tho following: Twenty-fourth. A slnglo or double ! track on Seventh South Street from Eloventh East Street east to Thirteenth East Street. Twenty-fifth. A slnglo or double track beginning at tho Intersection of Eleventh East and Twelfth South Streets In said city, and extending thence southeasterly along tho street herotoforo known as "Highway No. 1" and also as tho "Territorial Road" to the present southern boundary of Salt Lako City. Section 2. That said grantee, Its successors suc-cessors or assigns, shall construct, completo and havo In operation at least one railway track with tho necessary swltchos upon Seventh South Street on or beforo December 31, 1911, nnd on said Highway No. 1 on or before the 31st day of December, 1912; and, In tho ovont of falluro of said grantoo to havo completed and In operation at least ono track on each of said streets within tho time mentioned, then, as to all portions of tho streets not so oc- cupled at tho expiration of said period, Jhls franchise, and all tho provisions hereof, shall bo null and void. Section 3. Office and place of its general business busi-ness located at 205 Judge Building, Salt Lake City, Utah. Notice is hereby given that at a meeting of the board of directors of the Emerald Mining Company, neld at its office, above designated, on Wed nesday, March 8, 1911, an assessment assess-ment of one and one-half (1) cents per share was levfed on the capital stock of the corporation, payable to J. E.
