Show The action of the governor in vetoing the anti-cigarette anti-cigarette bill was a sensible move. It was never intended as anything except as a sop thrown to a few cow country constituents, in order to show how beautifully their representatives, were reforming re-forming the wicked in Zlon. The 1911 legislature -seemed to have little in mind except such measures mea-sures as would act to the detriment of this city and it is well that some of their drastic measures against the personal liberty of the people were killed. Could there ever be such another fool, legislature legisla-ture as that of 1911? |
