Show Area Obituaries I Clara Louise Heywood Ott TROPIC, Utah - Clara Louise Heywood Ott, beloved mother, sister, grandmother and friend, passed away Aug. 7, 2004 at her home in Tropic, Utah. She was born in Panguitch, Utah, Apr. 13, 1932, the daughter daugh-ter of Edgar True Heywood and Clara Fulton Syrett. She married Stanley K. Ott, in the Manti LDS Temple, June 29, 1956. Mom loved to be around people. peo-ple. She enjoyed visiting the homes of her customers and friends as an "Avon Lady" for over 20 years. In her later years, Mom was able to learn to use a computer. She loved sending and receiving emails which became a lifeline to her family and friends. She was a member of the LDS church and served faithfully faithful-ly in numerous church callings. Her favorite calling was that of ward chorister. She had a great love for LDS hymns. Her testimony testi-mony of the LDS gospel was strengthened by the principles taught in these hymns. Mom served two full-time missions, the first, a proselyting mission to Spokane Wash., and the second, sec-ond, a family history mission in Cedar City, Utah. She often spoke fondly of the wonderful people she met while serving her Heavenly Father in this capacity. Mom was blessed with a loving lov-ing relationship with her two brothers. They shared a special bond that was strengthened by their frequent tape recorded "letters" to each other. She also delighted in her relationships with her family and friends. Her love of people transcended tran-scended all barriers of culture and religious beliefs. Her greatest great-est concern was for the spiritual ...... .. .... i J -V. Louise Ott wellbeing of others. She is survived by two brothers, broth-ers, Kenneth (Lorraine) Heywood, Fred (Rita) Heywood; five children, Claire (Sam) Arce', True (Joan) Ott, Marilyn (Shawn) Holley, Richard (Julie) Ott, Joyce (Jody) Edwards and 20 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, an older brother, Keith, her husband and a stillborn still-born child. These loved ones were always in her thoughts and we are assured of their sweet reunion. The family wishes to thank all of her wonderful friends and family in Tropic. Because of their loving service and watchful watch-ful care, she was able to fulfill her desire to return home. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Aug. 14, 2004 at 12 Noon in the Tropic LDS Ward Chapel, where friends may call on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Georgetown Cemetery.
