Show Cannonuilla k -GUJs By Marva Fletcher 679-8521 Lark and Bea Reynolds went to Cedar City on Monday with family members from Panguitch to meet their granddaughter Melissa Reynolds, Rey-nolds, daughter of Nick and Jewel Reynolds who returned from serving serv-ing an LDS mission in the Washington, Wash-ington, D. C. area. Also at the airport air-port to welcome her were Al and Karen Sivils. Melissa is their niece. Mel Beard spent the last week in Garfield Memorial Hospital recover ing from pneumonia. On Apr. 2, the daughters of Joe Hughes held a birthday party to celebrate his 70th birthday anniversary. anniver-sary. There were 41 family members mem-bers and friends there. On Tuesday, Joe and Rae Hughes went to Cedar City for eye appointments, then on to St. George where Joe went to the LDS temple with Joey and Aloha Mathews. , They came home Wednesday. While in Cedar City they saw Ned and Cleopha Henderson, Hender-son, former residents of Cannon-ville Cannon-ville and had a visit with them in WalMart. John and Marsha Holland, co-owners co-owners of the new Cannpn-villeBryce Cannpn-villeBryce Valley KOA Campground, Camp-ground, spent the week in Billings, Mont, attending a special school on campground management. They report that the campground is almost ready. They are working on the pool and planting grass. They should soon be able to sit and watch the grass grow. We were all saddened to hear of the accident that seriously injured Cherish Shakespeare while decorating decorat-ing for the prom. She was up on a lifting device hanging decorations when it tipped over and she was thrown more than 24 feet to the floor. She suffered head and back injuries and broken bones and was improving well at this report. She had undergone three surgeries and our love and prayers are with her for a speedy recovery. We are saddened to hear of the illness of Virginia B. Johnson and Zettie Kinter of Henrieville. Our love and prayers are also with them. A number of people from here attended the satellite broadcast of the dedication of the Palmyra LDS Temple held in Escalante |
