Show County Boys Teams Begin Region Play By John Yardley The boys teams in Region 15 begin tournament play in Richfield on Thursday as Escalante, Panguitch Pan-guitch and Bryce Valley all get into the action. Escalante and Panguitch face off against each other, while BV takes on Milford. They are all in the same bracket. In games of last week, all three teams took a loss. Wendover dropped Panguitch at Wendover, 70-57. 70-57. Panguitch only took six players play-ers as they had their sophomores in the annual sophomore tournament in Wayne. The Bobcats lost to the running Wildcats who hit 8 three pointers. Skyler Dalton led the Bobcat scoring with 18, Bracken Englestead scored 12 and Dusty Orton 11. Escalante lost 75-62 to Milford, despite balanced scoring from Mike Wheeler (16), Derrick Shakespear (15) and Ivan Singh (10). A six-point six-point second quarter killed the Moquis. Mo-quis. They trailed 34-21 at the break and could never recover. Bryce Valley had a shoof-out with Piute, before losing 83-79. With their high-powered scoring, don't count out the Mustangs in the upcoming tournament. Wayne Ott, the nifty little point guard for BV, came up big in this one to score 24 points.
