Monte and Cleo Marshall spent the weekend in Richfield visiting with daughter and son-in-law Marilyn and Barry Erickson and family so as to be able to be present at the blessing and naming of a great-granddaughter, Alila Kennedy Udy. Alila is the daughter of Melissa and Charles Udy and was blessed by her grandfather Barry. Afterwards, everyone enjoyed a family dinner at the Udy home. Monte and Cleo also enjoyed a visit from Charles and Dixiana Jarman from Phoenix, Ariz., who stopped in Panguitch on their way home from LDS General Conference. Charles Jarman was their bishop when they spent the winters in Phoenix and Melissa Jarman was her Stake Relief Society president and Cleo worked with her in several different auxiliaries. Although funerals are gener ally not a happy occasion, Art Cooper says he really enjoyed visiting with some former Panguitch residents (friends and relatives) who were here to attend the funeral of his cousin, Betty (Cooper) Allen. Attending were Ray and Elizabeth (Haycock) Child of Draper; Joe and Norma Cooper of Rosenberg, Ore. and Grant and Ruth Cooper of St. George. Art was especially pleased to be able to visit with' his two cousins, Joe and Grant. The three of them are the only surviving sur-viving sons of Jed, Trav, and Than Cooper, all former residents resi-dents of Panguitch. Jed was one of the owners of the S&C Mercantile which occupied the vacant spot (missing tooth) on Main Street.
