Her sister, Lorna Peterson, J her brother Keith Henderson and - his son and daughter-in-law, Oscar and Carrie Henderson all of Logandale, Nev.; and granddaughter, grand-daughter, Chelli Cottam and her fiance, Rob Larzalere, Las Vegas, Nevada. Chelli is the daughter of Bryce Cottam. - Golda and Lorna went to Antimony to visit another sister, , Verlene Gleave, on Sunday. The Griffin Reunion was well attended again this year with representatives from' all the children chil-dren of Alburn and Neoma '. Griffin. (104 in all.) The chil-dren chil-dren being: DeLane (Leah) Griffin, Vaunie (Mel) Richins (we were glad to hear that Mel t- and Vaunie both felt well enough to attend), Gene (Thais) Griffin, Lynn (Judy) Griffin, the late Flo Mitchell and Cecil (Carrie) Griffin. Two of Wade Griffin's daughters, Sarah and " Amanda were there also. Leah and Delane and Stan and Marlene Stowe hated to leave the mountain after the reunion, so they are still camping! The family of Lynn and Judy . Griffin shared their time with - the Mclnelly family as their reunion is always the same time of year (no reports on that one - yet.) Thais Griffin was in the hospital hos-pital in St. George having surgery sur-gery on her neck while the rest of the Griffins were on the mountain. She had similar surgery sur-gery once before and said she already had her "hipbone con- ; nected to her neck bone." 1 Wonder what she will come up with this time? After 36 years, Gene and Thais are retiring and turning their store over to their son and daughter-in-law, Brent and Kathy Griffin. Welcome to the club guys! ! I received a letter from Ferrel ' Roundy, Taft, Calif, last week. ' He said, "Blaine Lyman's son is one of the four missionary elders currently serving here in Taft! He said he was nine when he moved with his parents from Escalante to Missouri. They can be proud of him." I'll bet his grandma, Gwen Lyman, is proud of him too! Darcy and Brian Jeffers and daughters, Sadie and Cassadie, , came from Mapleton over the 4th of July weekend. They visited vis-ited with Darcy's parents, Sherril and Shirley Porter and uncle Lynn Porter. They visited the Little Desert, Posey Lake and hiked the Petrified Forest at the state park at wide hollow reservoir. It was hot but they enjoyed their stay. Lewis and. Jean Griffin are here and getting things ready for when their family arrives for the 24th of July celebration. Thelma Cottam is home from the hospital and doing better. We are glad to hear that Clayton, the son of Wally and Natalie Veater, Panguitch, , grandson of Marvin and Gloria Porter is doing better since his 4 wheeler accident at Pine Lake. Our condolences to Monte and Sylvia Luker and family whose son, Alan Todd Luker, passed away in Salt Lake City on July 3rd. Barbara and Francis Imlay wenTexcited to have their children chil-dren home last week. John and Jonnie Imlay came from Blanding and Laurie and Scott - I Bolander came from St. George ' with their families.
