Show Mmonv urns By Betty Wiley 624-3215 Danny Kendall is home from his LDS mission in the Philippines Angeles Mission. He has been an outstanding example to all he met or worked with and we are so happy to have him home. Julie Allen had not only her parents, the Furses from Georgia visiting but her sister and brother and family came. Also here for McKay Allen's meeting before he leaves for the Missionary Training Center in Provo, were his aunts, Tracy and Joann and their families and friends. Among the many here for church Sunday were Berdean Young Fullmer of Circleville. Burdean was born and reared here so we count her as one of ours. Antimony Town is having a little problem with our water as the pressure has really dropped possibly due to low water because of the high temperatures tempera-tures and lack of any rain for some time. When Hal and Athalia Jensen were out on East Mountain scattering scat-tering salt for cattle they could see crickets every where. How can one tell is they are Mormon crickets or just grasshoppers? The American Fork 33rd Ward here with Bishop Mathews for their Youth Conference are enjoying the rural area, working at several different projects. They have 30 youth plus their leaders. At an evening meeting at Otter Creek Lake, Ole Lindgren came to entertain them. He talked, bore his testimony and sang. He has such a marvelous talent. If looking around the other areas tells you anything about the drought and shortage of water, by fall the Piute Reservoir will be dry and they are really pulling out the water from Otter Creek Lake. What about any storage for next year? Daren and Eileen Taylor are so good to help anyone who needs a mechanic and we really appreciated Eileen when she knocked on our door yesterday offering her expertise and now the swather is cutting hay. Hopefully nothing else goes wrong today. Cheyenne Ricketts is here at her grandmother Marcia Tobiasson's for a few days before school starts. |
