Show I Tropic HcvTI Bob Joe and Randi Ott are the proud grandparents of a new granddaughter born to Dustin and Cecily Ott of Salt Lake City. The baby has a very pretty Honduras namS and is very hard to spell! Jack and Mae Chynoweth and Bob and Mira Loy Ott are the equally proud great-grandparents. Richard Clarke, of Riverton, stopped to check in on his parents, Lester and Vertis Clarke one day during the week. Sherrell and Karen Ott and Mary Ott attended an Eagle Court of Honor for Beau Davis in Toquerville on Saturday evening. Beau is the son of Gary and Kathy Davis. ; Franz and Margaret Shakespear thoroughly enjoyed having all their children home for the weekend. Ryan, Erin, Weston, Shelly and J4n came from Cedar City. David aiid Candace came from Ogden to celebrate Candace's birthday. There were no cakes or candles, just chocolate pie! The Special LDS Stake Musical Production auditions will be held May 6'for interested singers. Stan Mecham was released from Tropic LDS Ward Sunday School presidency and Merrilee Mecham was sustained as an instructor for the Relief Society organization. The Gerald Talbot family's membership records were read in meetings as were those of Ricky Dennis Stark. Gaston Geppuis and younger brother Yanik Geppius were advanced in the Aaronic Priesthood. The annual Relief Society . dinner and program was held at the Tropic LDS Ward cultural hall on Wednesday evening with an excellent turnout. The food was good, the performers were entertaining, and everyone delighted in visiting with their neighbors. Thanks to the women who made this evening a success. Two Eskimos sitting in a kayak were chilly, but when they lit a fire in the craft, it sank, just to prove, once and for all, that you can't have your kayak and heat it, too! |
