Show Itenricvilk Mews By Wynona Henderson 679-8560 On Monday, Keela Mangum took Iris Bushnell and Doris Liles to St. George shopping. They met Keela' s daughter Laycee for lunch and went on to Cedar City. Keela took them another day to Tawey's down by the Colorado River where Pete and Keela' s horse rides are located. lo-cated. The flowers are very beautiful. beauti-ful. Shawn and Lisa Chynoweth and family went to Las Vegas, Nev. ' where they picked up some playground play-ground equipment for the town park. Ray and Paula Smith have moved a few loads of their furniture here and it won't be long until they are permanently moved here. LaRona Callahan, Ramona Copfer, Linda Clayton and Golda Mclnelly went to Salt Lake City for eye appointments. They stayed with the Verl Mclnelly's in Grantsville. They also visited LaRona's son Kenneth and his wife Shonna in Salt Lake City. Delano Callahan had a doctor's appointment on Thursday to check his breathing problems. Berthene Griffin was in West Jordan with Brad and Ann Griffin for a week. They went to Provo to see Royce Griffin, who came up from Midland, Tex. Suzanne was already there as she had come to help her daughter Susan Stringham, who had a baby girl. Proud father is Michael Stringham. Logann and Max Eagar went to the St. George LDS Temple on Friday and Saturday. Sarah Bradshaw of Cedar City spent Sunday with her mom Sandy Johnson and grandma Virginia Johnson. All the other children called. Rachael called to let them know she had been accepted at Columbia Co-lumbia University in New York as a psychology major. Sandy and daughter Esther went to St. George on Saturday, along with Beverly Thompson and daughter daugh-ter Savannah. Ernie and Wynona Henderson were in Salt Lake City for a week where Ernie had doctor's appointments appoint-ments They all attended the Logan, Lo-gan, Ogden, and Bountiful LDS Temples. They also visited Rosemary Rose-mary Palmer in Bountiful. Her brothers Dick and Blaine Lyman of Missouri, Joyce Woolsey of California, Cali-fornia, Deanna Grace of Tremonton all visited. They had met for Mother's Day to honor their mother Gwen Lyman. Ernie and Wynona also Dallas and Cathy Henderson of Keams. Rhoda Shafer, Gretha and Desmond Des-mond Twitchell, Lyllian and Russell Rus-sell LeFevre went to Richfield for Nelda Willis' 90th birthday three weeks ago. They had a wonderful time. Rhoda Shafer also celebrated her 80th birthday with her children. Those attending were Donna and Duane Metcalf of West Valley City; Jerry and Dave Millett of Cedar Ce-dar City; Lyllian and Russell LeFevre Le-Fevre and all other their families. They had a family dinner and on Sunday, held an open house at Rhoda' s. All the grandkids and great-grandkids were there. Barbara and George Paris of Parowan came and spent Mother's Day with mom Rae Smith. They all went out to dinner. She went ,with Dave Reynolds of Escalante one day, also. Jim Smith came and tok his mom Rae to Kanosh for the fuenral of her sister Rula Christen-sen's Christen-sen's husband Leavitt. All of Rula's brothers and sisters were there. Loren Thempson, son of Guy and Raquelle Thompson, has been visited with grandparents Guy and Beverly Thompson while his parents par-ents went on a cruise. Cecile Thompson, who is in Malta, called her parents and reports she had just returned from Egypt. Heidi Thompson is going to be living in Cedar City this summer where she is employed. Brent Griffin of the LDS High Council and Ryan Cottam were speakers in LDS sacrament meeting. meet-ing. Kathie Griffin played a special musical number. |
